Happy Mom's Day!!!! (Late Post)

Well,we never really celebrated that big..Medyo na-sad pa nga ako nung saturday night. Kasi ganito, galing ako work..then bumili ako ng flowers para kay mama. Surprise ko sana siya kasi if im not mistaken, that was the first time na bigyan ko sya ng flowers. Pagdating ko ng bahay..she was not that there. Naki-pamiyesta sila sa tita ko and the next day pa sila uuwi. We were planning pa naman to go to the church the next morning. But dumating sya sunday afternoon, I gave her the flowers, she was happy. Then we took some pictures and all. Though walang bonggang dinner, masaya pa din. :)

The Kiss..

The kiss that is so sweet..

The kiss that made the world stop revolving..

The kiss that made my heart beats faster..

The kiss that I have been dreaming for..

One sunday night, we were lying on his bed. Chatting. Talking about different things. Talking about our lives. The space between us made me feel like we were miles apart until the person beside me to come closer. My heart beat was so fast like a horse running for the finish line. I was so shocked when I noticed I was actually hugging that person so tight. Our eyes met. Minutes of looking at each other, very deep, very meaningful. Our mouths stopped talking but our eyes continued the conversation. Then, our lips started to get closer and closer till they both reached each others flesh. They moved as if like they were fighting. Fighting like no one wants to be defeated.

It was hot..

It was tempting..

It was passionate..

It was just a dream..

Idol Of The Month - MAY

I was born a dancer..haha! And if there is one dance master I really adore, and love..that would be no other Wade Robson! So as a tribute to him, he is my Idol of the month for this May!

Wade Robson Biography

Wade Robson is a major creative force with 20 years of experience in only 25 years of life. He has choreographed and directed music videos, commercials, award shows and world tours for recording artists such as Britney Spears, NSYNC, Usher, Mya and Pink. He created, produced and stared in MTV’s hit series, The Wade Robson Project. Since then he has written, choreographed and directed commercials for Sirius Satellite Radio and Power Shoes, who make his own line of dance footwear, award winning short films and groundbreaking choreography for Fox’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.

Born in Brisbane, Australia, Wade made an entrance into entertainment at age 5 as a professional dancer. Wade and his family then moved to America when he was nine years old to pursue his career in the entertainment business. Before he turned 10 years old he had danced and acted in Michael Jackson videos, multiple commercials, films and TV shows.

At the age of 12, Wade decided he wanted to teach dance so he started at the famous Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood, CA. It wasn’t long before his classes were filled to capacity and he became Millenium’s biggest draw – a “rockstar teacher”. This led to his first professional choreography job for MCA recording artists Immature, ironically enough when he was just 14 years old. Wade’s development skyrocketed and he began to create a dance style that was all his own, accompanied by his own original music.

When Wade was 16 years old, his work caught the eye of Britney Spears. Before he knew it he was asked to do choreography for her 1999 world tour. After experiencing his talent first hand, Britney invited him to not only choreograph but to write, direct, remix the music, direct the video segments and co-design the sets for her award show performances and world tours including the acclaimed A Dream Within A Dream HBO special. This led to the same job description with NSYNC, which included their PopOdyssey World Tour. He also choreographed Britney’s famous Pepsi Commercials, her sultry Slave music video and NSYNC’s POP music video. Wade’s outstanding work ethic and eagle’s eye to detail presented him with opportunities that made apparent his arrival to the top of his class.

Wade co-wrote and produced What It’s Like To Be Me from the multi-platinum Britney album and 4 songs from *NSYNC’s multi-platinum Celebrity album, including the Grammy nominated single, Gone. This gained him an unprecedented administration deal with The Universal Music Group. Since then he has gone on to write and produce music for such recording artists such Justin Guarini, Dream, The Backstreet Boys, James Ingram and Carly Simon. Wade also recently released an album of his dance music entitled “Wade Robson’s Project-Dance Beats, Vol. 1.”

Wade won an EMMY in 2007 for a piece he choreographed for Fox’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE entitled RAMALAMA. Wade choreographed and starred in a special performance for DANCING WITH THE STARS in 2007, which turned out to be one of the seasons highest rated episodes. Wade and his wife Amanda are currently developing an independent dance feature film, which he will direct and choreograph. Wade is also choreographing CIRQUE DU SOLEIL/CRISS ANGEL BELIEVE which will open at the Las Vegas Luxor in 2008.

He also just received his second EMMY nomination for “The Hummingbird & the Flower.” A piece he choreographed for Fox’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE in 2007.

Wade is excited about his continual personal and creative growth and is passionate about bringing his knowledge of music, choreography, storytelling, direction and life perspective to stage, commercial, music video and film.

Immature :'(

Has anyone told you that you're immature? Has anyone reminde you to act like your age not your shoe size? Ako? Na-experience ko na yan..lots of time. I dunno why I feel so sensitive averytime somebody tells me I am immature. Is it because I am guilty of it? Well, I am trying to grow up. I am 20 years old, but still they tells me I act like I am 16.

My parents, they always tells me that. "Magtino ka nga..para kang bata!" I hate it kapag sinasabi nila yun. Well, nasanay na rin naman ako. But kapag ibang tao yung nagsasabi..mas masakit. Coz it feels like its so true, when I am trying not to be one.

I do hope someone can understand me..it really hurts. :'(

Bonding with mom and sis..

Saturday, April 18, 2009, we went to Robinson Starmills and SM Pampanga..

This is a very rare oppurtunity, that me, my younger sister and my mom went out and had a little bonding moment together. We went to Robinson's Starmills Pampanga to find a blouse for mom, mom is so maarte that she wasn't able to find one, we ended up buying one cute blouse for my sis. Then we walked around still looking for a blouse that fits mom's taste. But as i have said, she's so maarte. Then we went to SM Pampanga (just across rob). Finally after or the comments, judgements, criticisms and compliments mom had gave all of the blouses displayed in SM Dept. Store, she found one..and we bought it (but she's still not satisfied). Then it was my turn to look for something. We went to Penshoppe, F&H, Human, Bench etc. Just like mom I am so maarte as well..hihi. So we ended up going back to bench and I bought a black polo shirt. Then we decided to go home coz were getting tired and hungry. Though sandali lang kami sa mall, we had fun and lots of laughs. Sana maulit..pero sana kumpleto buong family!>

Latest News Bout The Idol

Ryan Seacrest dating L.A. bartender

Ryan Seacrest may be one of the hardest-working men in Hollywood, but last week he took time out from his gig as a host of “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” for a romantic jaunt to Paris with L.A. bartender Jasmine Waltz.

Seacrest, 34, met Waltz during a night out at Guy's, a West Hollywood lounge. Waltz, who has previously worked at other L.A. hotspots including Les Deux and Italian restaurant Bella, is an aspiring actress, a source tells PEOPLE.

"They've been together for a few months now," says the source.

After wrapping his “American Idol” duties last week, Seacrest whisked Waltz off to Paris for a weekend where the couple displayed a lot of PDA.

The brief respite served as a prelude to a busy spring: Seacrest's radio show, which garners a weekly international audience of 20 million across 130 stations, will expand to a fourth hour of programming on May 4.

In December, Seacrest's mother Connie told momlogic.com she wished her son, the producer of the NBC reality show Momma's Boys, would have more time to date. "That would be wonderful for him," she said, "and we'd stand a better chance for him to have a relationship."

Seacrest has been linked previously to singer Sophie Monk, Amazing Race star Shana Wall, and actress Teri Hatcher.

Biography of the Idol

Ryan Seacrest was born in Dunwoody, Georgia, the son of Constance Marie née Zullinger, a homemaker, and Gary Lee Seacrest, an attorney.[1][2][3] He has a younger sister, Meredith, and is of Swiss descent.[4] At a young age, he knew he wanted to be a DJ, and idolized radio personalities like Casey Kasem and Dick Clark. Ryan hosted the morning announcements at his high school, Dunwoody High School, from which he graduated in 1993. During his academic career, Seacrest was a staff writer with the school paper, a member of the model UN club and captain of the Dunwoody High School Swim Team ("The Wet Wildcats").[5]

After graduating from high school, Seacrest went on to attend the University of Georgia in the fall of 1993. There, he would host his first radio show at a local Athens station. Seacrest left UGA at age 19 and moved to Hollywood to continue his broadcasting career.

Personal Life

In a 2003 interview, Seacrest answered gay rumors in an interview with the weekly entertainment magazine Steppin' Out, "I'm trying to think of the best way to describe the feeling I get when I hear that particular rumor. I am a certain way. I am relatively clean cut and I do like to shop for clothes. If I had to break it down stereotypically, that would be a gay male habit. Well for me it's not. It's a straight male habit." Stuff Magazine called him, "the American poster boy for metrosexuality."

Career

Seacrest appeared as the host of the fictional game show Lover's Lane on Beverly Hills, 90210 in "The Final Proof".

Seacrest's first major television job was as the host of The New Edge, a weekend morning show created by CNET showcasing new technology. Seacrest accepted the position as co-host of the hit reality TV series American Idol in 2002 with comedian Brian Dunkleman.

At American Music Awards 2003, he ripped open comedian Kathy Griffin’s blouse and showed everyone her bra. The move led Kathy to complain Seacrest “physically assaulted” her. “That bit was unscripted,” he admitted.[6] Controversy continued as Seacrest jokingly referred to a 12 year old girl sitting in the front, which resulted in presenter Patricia Heaton walking out in disgust.[7]

American Idol went on to become a success when the ratings went through the roof. This put Seacrest in the national spotlight. The following year, he became the sole host when Dunkleman left the show. (In a 2005 interview on the syndicated Howard Stern Show, Dunkleman insisted that it was his idea to leave Idol, to pursue his career as an actor, but he was bitter at Seacrest's occasional put-downs after Dunkleman's departure.) In 2003, Seacrest hosted the spin-off show, American Juniors.

In January 2004, Seacrest launched a daily entertainment/variety/talk syndicated television program, On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Due to low ratings, the show was cancelled and aired its last episode on September 17, 2004. In January 2004, Seacrest became the new host of the legendary radio program American Top 40, created and formerly hosted by Casey Kasem. The show was syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks. Before he took over as host on AT40, he was a substitute host four times in 2003. In February 2004, Seacrest became host of popular Los Angeles radio station KIIS's morning show, replacing long-time host Rick Dees.[8] This show, also known as On Air With Ryan Seacrest, remains on the air. "Every day I've showed up at a radio station, and every day I've essentially talked on the radio. I mean every day of my life — Monday through Friday — since I was 15. So for me, I'm so used to walking into a studio and having interesting conversations people can relate to. It's my job."[9]

In January 2005, Seacrest hosted the "Celebration of Freedom" concert in Washington, DC for President George W. Bush, the Bush family and the United States Military.[10]

In August 2005, it was announced that Seacrest would become executive producer and co-host of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, and that he would be the legendary producer-host's eventual successor.[11] On December 31, 2005 Seacrest performed much of the show's hosting duties. Dick Clark's role was limited by speech and mobility issues due to his recovery from a stroke. Seacrest also occasionally serves as a substitute host on the CNN television program Larry King Live.

In January 2006, U.S. cable channel E! announced a three-year, $21 million deal for Seacrest to host and produce various programs, including E! News and its red carpet awards show coverages (E!'s signature piece of original programming).[12] An Associated Press profile portrayed Seacrest as using both the deal with E! and the Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve involvement as a springboard towards a long-lasting career in television production and ownership. [13] In April 2006, he won a Daytime Emmy Award for co-hosting the 2005 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade with Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa. Seacrest had a cameo in the summer 2007 blockbuster film Knocked Up, where he steps out of his usual friendly host role on E! and rants about the stupidity of the interviews he has to conduct, noting that no one has anything to say about an exit strategy in Iraq or dealing with (presumably North) Korea.

Seacrest hosted the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 16, 2007.[14]

In May 2008, reports said Seacrest would be executive producer for a new reality dating show, Momma's Boys, for NBC. According to a casting announcement, the series will follow mothers as they work with their sons to find their perfect match.[15]

Seacrest is also the executive producer of E! reality show Denise Richards: It's Complicated which premiered on May 26, 2008. The show has received numerous negative reviews. The Boston Herald rated the show a D. Its critic Mark A. Perigard said of the first episode:

"Denise Richards’ life is one steaming pile of pig poop...Literally"[16].
In August 2008, ABC picked up the option in Seacrest's contract to extend him as co-host of New Year's Eve through 2010, ringing in 2011, also renaming the program 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest', to reflect Seacrest's success as co-host, said in a statement by Orly Anderson, president of Dick Clark Productions. [17].

In August 2008, Seacrest named his longtime William Morris Agent, Adam Sher, as C.E.O. of Ryan Seacrest Productions. [18]

In August 2008, Seacrest inked an expansive deal with the Comcast Entertainment Group, keeping him on E!Entertainment Television through early 2012. Comcast also gets first-look rights at all Ryan Seacrest Productions products.[19

Letting Go of the Dream..

Once upon a time, I met this person who made my face blush as red as an apple. The person who made my heart fall in love. This person who kissed my life and put a different color on it. One day I dreamt of loving this person and being loved by this person as well. I hoped and I prayed for that day to come. We became friends, I thought that, that is the start of something. You know what they say, it all starts with friendship. This person made me love him more and more everyday. I thought that person felt the same. Days passed, we text, we go out, like normal friends does. I told that person how I feel. I thought its gonna be alright, but it did not. I was hurt when that person told me, it cant be. We argued, we explained each other and the rest was history. I kept on pushing myself closer to that person. One day I thought, im tired. I have to let go and go on with my life. Stop dreaming and face the world. It was hard to let go of that dream. The dream that someday, this person will love me back the way I did. I realized that as the day passes by, the wound gets deeper. So I have to take care of it before it becomes worst. This decision hurts me a lot. But this is the only way I can think of for me to be able to live. Now, I am still on the process of moving on. Sometimes I cry but I know these tears will dry. I still love that person, and i'll always will. But for now, I must move on. And one day, I am sure, I will live a happy ever after life.

Semana Santa

Let Us Pray..

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.

Amen.

Congrats! Nurse Mhy!

Last saturday, March 21, 2009, one of my friends just graduated from college. She survived the nursing world. Hehe, I envy her for some reasons, I envy her coz she was able to fulfill her life long dream. But i'm happy for her coz she's now a certified graduate. I am really proud of her coz I know that the course itself was hard and she was able to survive for after four years of disecting frogs, reviewing medicines, exhausting duty on different hospitals and a lot more activities relating to her course. And now she told me that she still needs to review for her board exam. Gosh! After four consecutive years of books and strict proffesors still she needs to study again. Grabe! Dana friend, bilib na ku talaga keka! Haha! I remember during our high school days sisipun kamu, tapus gagabun, o ngeni nurse naka..haha! Kidding aside, she really inspired me. I know that one day, manyulud ku ring toga at manik ketang stage. Hehe. Well, no definite dates pa, pero malapit na! Haha.

Heart Broken

Today, I feel so broke. My heart is melting. My eyes are drowning in to tears. I want to scream out loud! I loved, but I was not able to be loved back just the way that I expected. It's hard to assume that is there is SOMETHING, but then in the end you'll find out ther's none. I feel like i'm starting to hate myself. I've had this experiences before but still I have'nt learned from my mistakes. I am so weak, so stupid, so foolish. Right now, I promise myself. I will never fall in love again! :(

Battery of Training - Batch 2009

March 7-8, 2009 Sapangbato, Tolit's place...

Every year, one of the most important events ng T.G. ang B.O.T. And sa 3 years ko na pagiging member ng T.G. ngayon lang ako nakapag-B.O.T. Well, lagi kasi ako di pwede nun,so this year ok na.

Since di pare-pareho ang mga schedule ng mga participants, we were divided into two groups. Yung mga nagkita-kita ng 4:30 pm,they did tha mini "ämazing race". While ako dun ako sa 7pm batch sumama kasi may pasok pa ako. May nagyari nun habang naghihintay ako, pero hindi ko na ikukwento kasi maiinis lang ako. :) So there,we went dun sa place nung ex-President na si Tolits. At first akala ko di na ako isasali sa B.O.T kasi nga matanda na ako. Pero I was shocked ng i-include pa nila ako.

So there, after magbihis, people started to be serious. We sat sa grass, in a circular formation. And tinanong kami one by one ng mga expectations namin sa activity, sa mga kapwa members, at sa sarili. Then right after that nag-start na yung first activity. We were not all prepared for that first activity. They called it "The Caterpillar". And fortunately we survived. Then we did the "boodle fight". Tradition ito ng TG, nakalapag ang food sa napakalaking dahon ng saging. Then nakapila lahat ng members, and sabay-sabay kakain ng nakakamay. Then we rest for a while then we did the "bidding" game. We have to trade our clothes, or anything na suot namin kapalit ng mga gamit pantulog like unan, kumot, dahon, tali and we need to make a mini tent or camp. So the story goes on. We made tents, we slept. The next dat we woke up. We ate a small bread filled with a bit of scrambled egg. Then we did the next activity. I forgot kung ano tawag nila sa activity na yun. Mechanics was, kailangan lahat ng members tumayo sa isang pirasong log, then bibigyan kami ng command ng mga facilitators to arrange ourselves into different categories without falling from the log. It was hard, so obviously di naging succesful I cried after that. Next challenge was the bao thingy. Kailangan namin mapuntahan yung finish line na tanging bao lang ang inaapakan namin. Take note..15 bao lang yun, so kailangan diskartehan. And as usual. Di na naman kami nagtagumpay. After that, relax relax muna, then we had lunch. Then relax ulit. Tapos time for the next activity, trust fall. May isang member na nakatayo sa gitna. Naka-blind fold, and kailangan nya magpahulog at dapat sya saluhin ng mga members na naka-paligid sa kany. I enjoyed that activity. Sarap ng feeling. Last activity was trust walk. We were grouped into two. Each member will be blind folded, tapos nakapila, hawak-hawak, at may isang leader, at kailangan lang namin sundan yung tunog kung san man kami dadalhin. That was the most exhausting part. KAsi,kung saan-saan kami sumuot, nagsipag-gulong gulong. But at least, this time it was succesful. Well, gusto ko pa sana magkwento, kaso nakalimutan ko na yung ibang mga nangyari. Kwento ko na lang ulti next time. HIHI..

Tuesdays With Morrie

Written By Mitch Albom
A true to life story

This is a story of a teacher and a student. How they have touched each others heart. Dun sa first part na binabasa ko yung book, I found it boring. Pero pagdating sa middle part yun ang interesting. Super daming lessons na matututunan. Specially how you face your death. Pano kung meron ka na lang ilang months, weeks or days dito sa mundo. Pano mo yun spend? This story is different. It teaches you on how to face life in a differrent way. Waah..basta overwhelmed ako sa story na to. Basahin nyo din. :)

Idol Of The Month - MARCH

Singer, songwriter, performer, producer, perfumer"is there anything Christina Aguilera hasn’t done, and done exceedingly well? One of the most accomplished performers of the last decade, she has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, achieved four #1 singles on the Billboard hot 100 chart, and has won four Grammy Awards and a Latin Grammy Award, as well as two top five albums in the United States. She has collaborated with other great artists including Herbie Hancock, Andrea Bocelli, Sean “Diddy” Combs and most recently, the legendary Tony Bennett. 2008 proves there is no slowing down for the singer. In January, Aguilera gave birth to her first child, son Max Liron Bratman. Following the birth, in February 2008 the new mom served as the muse behind London jeweler Stephen Webster’s new sterling silver collection. Christina inspired and fronts the unconventional collection posing as a Hitchcock heroine in the ad campaign. “Where we took the ads I think, is a really original place. It was fun experimenting with that,” says Christina. In April of the same year Christina launched her second fragrance, “Inspire”. The fragrance is a mix of the artist’s favorite scent Tuberose with hints of gardenia and undertones of musk. The advertising campaign is a modern approach to the 70’s Pop art style which also gave way to Christina’s latest endeavor, a new album. In November of 2008 the singer will debut her first greatest hits album, “Christina Aguilera’s Keeps Gettin' Better - A Decade of Hits”. The CD collection available at Target will feature ten of her most popular, chart-topping hits, include two brand new tracks “Dynamite” and “Keeps Getting’ Better” as well as two of her old classics, “Beautiful” and “Genie in a Bottle” rerecorded.

After sweeping the top of the charts with her third album, “Back to Basics,” which debuted at #1 in August ’06 and went on to become the biggest seller in the SoundScan era for a female artist, shipping 2 million worldwide, the unstoppable Aguilera announced a 41-city North American tour. With special guests the Pussycat Dolls as openers, the fashion legend Robert Cavali as the exclusive costume designer, choreographer and director Jamie King (Madonna, Janet Jackson and Prince) on board, and a unique stage design that allowed fans unprecedented access to the pop star, the shows were a feast for all senses and earned her rave reviews. Barely catching her breath from this whirlwind, which came at the heels of extensive European dates, Aguilera lent her hand to an entirely new production"an eponymous perfume, which she launched in October ’07 through Procter and Gamble. The heady, fruity fragrance is wild and exotic, sensual and succulent. And its hourglass shaped bottle with coquettish lace trim perfectly reflects its seductive boudoir sensibility. "I love trying new things in my music and in fashion,” says Christina. “To have a perfume of my own is the beginning of an exciting adventure.” The Staten-Island native’s trajectory from performing in local talent shows in Pennsylvania, where she grew up, to getting her big break on “Star Search” in 1992 to landing a part on the Disney Channel’s “The New Mickey Mouse Club”, is well known. It was her song, “Reflection,” for Disney’s “Mulan,” that led to a record deal with RCA and the release of her self-titled debut album in the summer of 1999. The album quickly hit #1 on the strength of its first dance/pop single, “Genie In A Bottle” (which dominated the charts for five weeks) and other chart toppers including “What A Girl Wants.” It was a feat she would repeat the following year with “Mi Reflejo,” the smash Spanish-language version of her debut, followed by her hit holiday release, “My Kind of Christmas.”

In 2001 Aguilera joined forces with Pink, Mya and Lil’ Kim on the smash “Lady Marmalade” single and video. That eye-popping slice of eye and ear candy kept her front and center in the international spotlight even as she began, slowly and steadily, to lay the groundwork for her second album, Stripped. Released in October 2002, it sealed her status as an international superstar while transforming her image from bubble-gum-pop princess to steamy sex kitten. Along with the superheated funk of the album’s provocative debut single, “Dirrty,” came such standout tracks as “Beautiful,” “Can’t Hold Us Down” and “Make Over.” Earning her first of four Grammy Awards in 2000 for Best New Artist, her subsequent trophies came in 2001 for “Lady Marmalade” (Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals), in 2003 for “Beautiful” (Best Female Pop Vocal Performance) and in 2007 for “Ain’t No Other Man (Best Female Pop Vocal Performance), winning a Grammy for each of her albums. Among countless other honors, she is also the recipient of a 2001 Latin Grammy Award for Mi Reflejo (Best Female Pop Vocal Album), a 2000 Billboard Music Award for Female Artist of the Year, and two 2004 Rolling Stone Music Awards (Best Female Performer, Readers’ Pick; and Best Tour, Readers’ Pick, “Justified and Stripped”). Voted Sexiest Teen Idol in a VH1 poll, Aguilera’s beauty and charisma have also led Teen People to list her among its “25 Hottest Stars Under 25” and Maxim to crown her Best International Female Singer (2000), one of the Sexiest Women of the Year (2003) and #1 on their “Hot 100” List (2003). Aguilera has also been honored with two NRJ Awards (Best International Female, Best International Album) as well as a 2007 MTV Europe Award (Best Female Artist).

Today, while devoting the lion’s share of her time to recording and touring, the 27-year-old is active in a range of philanthropy. Christina and her son Max appeared in a PSA for “Rock the Vote” encouraging young people to take a stand and vote for what they believe in. The ad, which features Christina singing “America the Beautiful” to Max who is wrapped in an American flag, is featured in magazines, television spots and billboards in Times Square. A major contributor to the fight against AIDS, Aguilera has participated in the “What’s Going On?” cover project for AIDS Project Los Angeles’ Artists Against AIDS. In 2004 she became the new face for MAC cosmetic company and spokesperson for the MAC AIDS Fund. In addition, Christina became involved in awareness campaigns with Youth AIDS and ALDO. She also sponsors and is actively involved in the Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh for battered women and children.

She's an Angel

Everyone of us has their own angels. Maybe literal or those people who we treat as special. Those people who have touched our heart in a way that they dont know. Those people who became some of our inspiration. People who became part of our lives. Might be one of the members of the family. A bestfriend. A childhood sweetheart. Or a stranger who eventually became the Angel.

I met her some time in June of 2006. Member sya ng isang organization called Theatre Guild. The first time I saw her, she was sweet, charming and so nice. Mukha nga syang pusa actually (and ironically she loves cats :P). She came by the name of Rachel. I was planning to register dun sa org nila ng magkaron ako ng second thoughts. Then I was about to go ng kausapin nya kame ng mga classmates ko and invite us to register. She told us na meron audition and we asked her what if hindi kame pumasa. She told us na wala naman daw tinatanggal sa audition. So go kame. And the rest was history. At first di kame ganun ka-close. We dont really talk that much. Yeah we see each other lagi sa so called tambayan. And I really wanted to get close to her that time. Like be one of her best friends. And I waited for that day to happen. Dati,we always text, pero natigil lang yun ng mag-stop ako sa studies. Somehow parang nawala na yung communication ko with the org,and sa kanya na rin as well. SO for a short period of time nagkalimutan.

And siguro dahil sa sobrang pagmamahal ko sa org, pumupunta pa din ako sa mga gatherings and activity nila. Last year,2008,that was the year na naging close ako kay Ate Chel. I dont know what happen. Basta everytime nagkikita kami we always talk about things and some "special people" (ayan na ang bubuyog). Tapos magkatext pa kami minsan till dawn. This was the time na unknowingly, she touched my life. Di ata nya sinasadya na nabigiyan nya ng ibang color ang buhay ko. Nung time na yun din ako naging close kay God. And I think that was because of her. Siguro ginawa syang instrument ni God for me to be able to know him better. Hehe. May mga times din na nagkatampuhan kami. But one thing I am proud of is she even though di kami naguusap, she doesnt treat me like an enemy. I know mahal pa din nya ako kahit magkaaway kami. Mmh, parang ganun naman ata sya sa lahat. Hehe.

So that was the story, Ate Rachel was my Angel in Disguise. I love her so much. I love everything about her. Though sometimes nakakainis kasi di sya marunong mag-manage ng time nya, pero ayos lang. Hehe. Ikaw? Who's your angel?

When Are You Gonna Die?

November 1, 2062..I'm gonna die.

Hehe, I found this site over the net. Na-catch attention ko kasi medyo scary yung site. Pano kase sasabihin nya kung kelan ka posibleng mamatay. The site depends on your body mass then it calculates the date of your death. Gosh, imagine pag-reach ko ng 73 years old, mamatay nako? Hahaha.

Well, medyo nakakatawa pero scary din diba? Sabagay no one can tell when are we gonna die. Pero try to check out. Here is the Link:

Thank You, Teacher.. (Part 1)

Despite the scandal wherein a professor was involved..feel ko pa din magbigay pugay sa mga minamahal nating guro. Most especially to those teachers who have touched our lives in their own little ways. Do you know how touching it is for them everytime a former student comes back to them and thank them for everything they had done?

I borrowed this book from my workmate. Entitled "Tuesdays with Morrie". Its about a teacher and a student. My workmate advised me to read it to be able to appreciate the worth of a teacher, not just as a teacher. As of now, di ko pa pwede i-share ang kwento and my vies about the story, but I promised as soon as I finished reading the book..I'll blog whatever I found on the story..:)

Goodbye, Rookie :'(

Á few months ago, someone came into our lives, a new family member. Nope, di nanganak si mama ng bagong baby. It was a cute little dog, we named him rookie kasi para syang basketball player sa likot at liksi. Nung unang araw nya sa house, napakatahimik, aloaf sya sa lahat, loner, emo..hehe. Naawa kami sa kanya kasi baka namimiss na nya yung family nya. Anyways, after ilang days naman he became energetic, jolly and very playful. Pag may bisita sa bahay he would cuddle dun sa paa nung tao and maglalambing. Pag nakita ka nya na may dalang food..(or minsan kahit plato lang na walang laman) mangungulit at mangungulit sya, pakainin mo lang. We treated him just like a normal family member. Natatawa ako everytime I would hear my Papa scold over him, sisgaw sya ng "diba sabi ko sayo wag kang labas ng labas??matigas na ulo mo ah..". Naalala ko tuloy pag pinapagalitan nya ako.

But those funny moments were over, a week ago, Rookie finally got his last breath. Sabi ni mama, friday pa lang matamlay na sya. He never ate anything the whole day, the next day konti lang din kinain nya. And pagdating ng sunday, he was lying under the bed, late na ng malaman namin na he's not breathing anymore. :'(

Now, few days have passed, I miss those days na when I go home from work, sasalubungin nya ako and would cuddle on to my feet. Those days na kapag kumakain ako, he would jump into my lap to ask for food. Those days that I would ride my bike and he would run after me. Aww, I really miss you ROOKIE :'(

what do you WANT?

Last sunday I went to the church (o diba banal?hehe). I usually get bored pag nagstart na magsermon yung pari. But this time its different. Yung sermon ng pari made me realized some things.

Sabi ng pari..before we ask for what we want we have to consider some things first.

First of all, not everything you want is what you need, and not everything you need is what you want.

Second, not everything you want is what everybody wants. For example gusto mo manood ng romantic movie, pero ang friends mo gusto horror. Edi magaaway-away lang kayo, so mas mabuti, voting system. Majority wins ika nga.

Third, not everything you want is good. For example you want to eat pork, but it's bad for your health..so why eat right? Ang dami kayang bagay dito sa mundo na gusto natin pero hindi tama. Dyan pumapasok ang temptation or tukso ika nga nila. Kadalasan kasi kung ano ang hindi tama yun ang gustong-gusto nating ginagawa. Dun tayo masaya.

Lastly, not everything we want is what GOD wants for us.

These four realizations made me wonder..tama lahat nung sinabi nung pari. So from now on try to consider this things before ka humingi ng kung ano-ano. Now, what do you want?

Valentines Date With Friends!

Feb 14 was the most romantic date for some couple. Restos, bars and parks are filled with lovers spending their most romantic time ever. See girls carrying fresh flowers or the most expensive chocolates they could ever had. Some couples spent the valentines in the simplest way they could. No matter how we spent valentines, or to whom we spent it, the ipmortant thing is, we at least felt happy even just for a day despite all the problems we encounter each and every day.

How about for those people who dont have their special someone to spend the valentines with? For those people we call the "singles". Some spent theirs with their family, some with their friends, or some found it a lot more romantic if they spend it alone. Mine? I shared it with some of the most important people in my life. I spent my valentines with Theatre Guild.

It was a fun, memorable date for all of us. Well, obvious naman na lahat kame single kaya pinagtyagaan na lang namin isa't isa..haha. Naging welcome party na rin un sa isang friend namin who went to Cebu. Well of course di sya nakatakas, kailangan nya manlibre. Haha. Nung una lima lang kami magkakasama, till habang naglalakad kami sa mall isa isa naming nakakasalubong yung mga kakilala namin (by accident). Tapos we went to KFC to had dinner, tapos picture2x. Then nagtingin tingin ng kung ano-ano sa mall. Tapos naghiwahiwalay na ulit.

We only spent at least 2-3 hours na magkakasama but it felt like years. Kahit na wala kaming individual dates that time, we still managed to make our valentine's day memorable and fun. well, di nga lang ganun ka-romantic pero at least nag-enjoy naman lahat. Sana next year may ka-date nako. HAha. Ciao!

P.S. mag-aattach sana ako ng isa sa mga pics namin nung sat, pero di pa na-upload. aun.

Let's WORK this out!

How desperate are you to earn money? Are you willing to work eight hours a day, five days a week? Or you want to run your own bussiness to be able to earn money? Or do you have plans of earning money in an illegal way? And what are your primary reasons why you want to earn money? Will it be to support your hungry family? Or for your own leisure? Well, we all have our reasons. So let me just share to you my story.

As early as 16 years old, nagstart na ako magwork. So as early as 16 years old natuto na ako on how to hold money and how to budget them. After I graduated high school nag-apply ako sa isang fast food chain as a service crew and eventually I was transferred as a telephone operator. That time di man umaabot ng 2,000.00 ang sinusweldo ko every 15/30. Pero since bata pa ako, ayos na ako dun. I was able to share some of my earnings sa mom ko, plus nakakabili ako ng mga things na gusto ko bilhin, and nakakasave ako for my allowance before the next pay outs come.

After five months na-expire na ung contract so I have to say good bye sa company. And then I was jobless for about three months and nag-enroll ako for college. Tinry ko mag-working student. I applied again sa isang food chain and this time I was assigned as a cashier. After a month nag-stop ako kasi diko kinaya yung pagod at puyat. So continue padin studies ko hanggang second semester.

Nung summer vacation na, I recieved the bad new. Di nako makakapag-enroll next school year. Sabi ng mom ko ipon muna ako para makapag-aral ako ulit. So yung ninang ko sinama ako sa work nya. I was a real estates agent that time. Like I talk to people who wants to buy or invest for their own house. I didn't have my basic salary, allowance lang. It's a commision basis salary. If you'll be able to sell the house you'll get a 1 to 1.5% commision. I stayed there for about three months then I resigned 'coz there is pressure and 'coz of personal reasons na rin.

After a month kinuha naman ako ng pinsan para maging maintenance personel sa office na pinapasukan nya. Two times a week lang ako pumasok nnun. Then all of a sudden hindi na nya ako tinawagan ulit, so I thought, baka di na nya ako kailangan.

And then I was jobless again for nine consecutuve months until nakapag-apply ako sa isang department store. Luckily, I was hired. That time I was ninteen years old and I was earning at least 3000.00 per cut off. Obviously, mas mataas kesa dun sa una kong work. So again my contract expired. End of the story.

And as usual I was jobless again for a couplt of months. Till one morning I recieved a call from a friend of mine. She was asking me if I wanted to apply in the company where she is working. It's a call center job she was offering me. I was hesitant at that time because I havent imagine myself working in a call center company. It's not because i'm not confident with my englis but because hindi ko feel mag-call center. Just like the others says, toxic daw saka exhausting. But anyways, nagtry padin ako. Wala naman mawawala diba? So I went to this office wearing a polo shirt, jeans and slippers. Napaka-informal diba? I had a series of tests and interviews. My final interview was a mess. I screwed up in front of my interviewer. Wala ata akong nasagot ng maayos sa mga tanong nya. But still, he hired me. And the rest is history ika nga.

Now, i'm happy with my job, i'm enjoying it. Got my supportive family as an inspiration, my workmates and some other people who gives me strength for me to be able to be strong. Sana magtagal ako sa work ko. Iba-blog ko na lang pag na-fire ako. Haha.

Together with this entry, I attached a video entitled "Work This Out" by the High School Musical cast". Enjoy!
